City Palace : An enormous edifice, 30.4 mtrs. high and 224 mtrs. in length. It is Built by Maharana Udai Singh (1537-1572). Completely white and majestic, the City Palace stands on a hill surrounded by crenellated walls. Its main entrance is through the triplearched gate, the Tripolia, built in 1725. There is Suraj Gokhada, the Balcony of the Sun, where the Suryavanshi Maharanas of Mewar presented themselves in time of trouble to the people to restore their confidence.

 

Jagdish Temple : Dedicated to Lord Vishnu, this temple was built in 1651 A.D. by Maharana Jagat Singh 1. Reached by a steep staircase flanked by stone elephants, the external walls and the plinth are covered with bas-reliefs-friezes of alligators, elephants, horsemen and celestial musicians.

Kumbhalgarh: It is the second most important citadel of Mewar after Chittaurgarh. Range of Aravallis Protect this impregnable fortress. It is 914 metres above from sea level. It was built by Rana Kumbha (1419-63). In Kumbhalgarh there are 8 gates and all have their own importance. The topmost palace in the fort is called Badal Mahal or Palace of the Clouds and offers superb view of the surroundings countrywide.  
And  journey continues from Kumbhalgarh to Ranakpur  (50 km. / 1 hr. drive) enroute experience the wide / different range of Aravalli Hills and you can view the village life also.  
Ranakpur : In a quiet and picturesque glen which runs into the western slopes of the Aravalli hills is a remarkable complex of Jain temples at Ranakpur, one of the five main holy places of the Jain community. Though over 500 years old, the temples here are superbly preserved in a near-perfect condition. In the center is the main temple dedicated to Tirthankara Rishabdeo with a "Chaumukha" or four-faced shrine dedicated to Adinath. The most distinctive features are the 29 halls of the temple which contain 1444 pillars of which no two are exactly alike.  

 
 Ranakpur to Mount Abu  
Early morning drive from Ranakpur to Mount Abu (200 km./ 5 hr. drive) enroute enjoy the beautiful greenery and the village life in the Aravalli Hills.

Dilwara Jain Temples :The temples here built between the 11th and 13th centuries are famous for their rich intricate carvings in marble.Vimal Vasahi is the oldest of these Jain temples. Built in 1031 AD in the village of Dilwara by Vimal Shah, the minister of Bhim Deva, the first Solanki ruler of Gujarat, it is perfect example of Gurjar Pratitar temple architecture, comprising a central shrine, a room with a transept, a large colonnaded area and an ambulatory lined by 52 small shrines each housing a statue.  
Nakki Lake :Beyond the Raghunath Temple is the placid Nakki Lake studded with little islets. Nowhere else in India, except in the Himalayas does a lake exist 1200 metres above sea level. This lake, as legend has it, was dug out by gods with their nails.
